Kaspa's Price Stuck in Narrow Range, Analysts Eye Bitcoin Comparison
Kaspa's price has been stuck in a narrow range for eight months, raising questions about its future trajectory. Analysts at Crypto MindSet have drawn parallels between Kaspa's chart and Bitcoin's 2015 bottom, suggesting that the current decline may be a prolonged consolidation before a potential recovery.
The comparison is based on the observation that both charts feature a similar sequence of lower highs and lower lows, followed by an extended sideways range. In Bitcoin's case, this period lasted from August to October 2015, after which the price broke out and began a powerful rally.
Crypto MindSet notes that Kaspa's current market structure is still different from Bitcoin's in several key ways. For one, Kaspa lacks the global liquidity, institutional presence, and infrastructure that Bitcoin had developed by its 2016 recovery. Additionally, Kaspa's trading volume remains relatively low compared to its total market capitalization.
To break out of its current range, Kaspa needs to reclaim $0.039, which would open a route toward the higher $0.06 area. However, if the price were to drop below $0.025, it could expose Kaspa to a deeper decline towards $0.01, fitting the double bottom scenario discussed by Crypto MindSet.
