KelpDAO Sues LayerZero Over $292 Million Hack

KelpDAO has taken legal action against LayerZero and its CEO Bryan Pellegrino over the April $292 million rsETH bridge hack.

The protocol claims that LayerZero failed to disclose known risks and reviewed its bridge setup as secure beforehand, but ultimately allowed North Korea-linked hackers to drain 116,500 rsETH tokens.

Pellegrino has responded to the lawsuit, calling it meritless and stating that he will defend himself in a Vancouver courtroom.
