Kenya's ETHSafari Marks Fifth Anniversary with Multi-City Blockchain Event

Kenya's ETHSafari blockchain gathering is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a multi-city event scheduled for September 4 to 13, 2026.

The event's theme is 'The Fifth Safari' and will feature a hackathon, workshops, networking sessions, the BlockTrain journey through Tsavo National Park, and a main conference in Kilifi.

Since its inception, ETHSafari has drawn backing from over 20 global organizations, including Visa, Ethereum Foundation, Coinbase, and Polkadot.

The event was founded by African Web3 community leaders who aimed to put Africa at the center of the global Web3 conversation. They established ETHSafari as a platform for Africans to tell their own blockchain story.
