KiiChain Bolsters Institutional Footprint in Colombia with Major Partnerships
KiiChain has made significant strides in expanding its institutional footprint in Colombia through partnerships with two major financial institutions. The company has successfully onboarded state-owned Banco Agrario and Financiera Juriscoop, a regulated Colombian financial institution with over 40 years of experience.
The partnership with Juriscoop brings institutional Colombian peso liquidity onto KiiChain's FX rails, enabling currency execution and settlement outside traditional banking hours. This integration aims to reach up to $10 million in daily transaction volume as it scales.
KiiChain has also been named an infrastructure provider for a joint initiative between Banco Agrario de Colombia and Merke Plaza. The agreement will enable the digitization of Colombia's plazas de mercado, traditional market halls that anchor commerce in cities and small towns, through KiiChain's settlement, transaction data, and cross-border FX infrastructure.
These agreements follow a consistent approach, where KiiChain sits beneath existing institutions rather than asking them to rebuild around new technology. This position opens doors for further integrations as KiiChain deepens local-currency liquidity and expands FX corridors.
