Kiyosaki Treats Bitcoin Like Insurance Against Financial Instability
Robert Kiyosaki has likened holding Bitcoin and gold to having insurance for unexpected financial troubles. He made this comparison in his latest post on X, where he referred to himself as a 'financial prepper.'
Kiyosaki argues that people don't buy car insurance expecting an accident, but rather to be protected if something goes wrong. He applied the same logic to holding gold, silver, and BTC, saying it's like preparing for potential financial instability.
The author of 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' emphasized his distrust in government-issued money, stating that he only wants money that governments can't print. He pointed out that Bitcoin's capped supply at 21 million coins aligns with this philosophy.
Kiyosaki has been warning about the convergence of rising debt, inflation, energy-related geopolitical tensions, and weaknesses in traditional retirement systems potentially leading to a larger financial crisis. As part of his strategy, he recommends owning BTC, gold, and silver as alternatives to traditional fiat-based savings.
