Kiyosaki's $1.2 Billion Debt Exposed: Tension Between His Message and Reality
Robert Kiyosaki claims to owe $1.2 billion in debt, but his former wife and business partner Kim Kiyosaki says this figure includes borrowing shared with partners across roughly 1,500 units.
Kiyosaki's personal share of the debt is estimated to be between $30 million and $60 million, which is a fraction of the amount he advertises.
The debt is secured against apartment buildings, not against Kiyosaki's Bitcoin (BTC) or gold holdings, which he promotes as a defense against a 'fake' currency.
Kiyosaki's business partner John Poole warns that borrowed money behaves very differently when prices stop climbing, and that leverage can be like 'a chainsaw financially coming down' if it's not continuing to climb.
