The National Assembly of South Korea is considering calling one to two CEOs of domestic virtual-asset exchanges as witnesses for this year's parliamentary audit. The review process involves key issues such as exchange oversight, including standards for altcoin listings and delistings, disclosure and circulating-supply management, and the supervisory framework for stablecoins.

The related discussions are expected to intersect with upcoming debates on the Digital Asset Basic Act. This act aims to formalize exchanges' listing and delisting standards as well as disclosure and circulating-supply management.

The plan is still under review, and a final decision will be made after consultations between the ruling and opposition parties and a full committee meeting.
