Korean Banks Join Forces with Ripple at XRP Seoul 2026

Ripple has confirmed several top Korean banks and RippleX leaders will attend XRP Seoul 2026, a conference focused on institutional crypto adoption.

The event is scheduled for October 3 at the Grand Hyatt Seoul in South Korea. Key speakers include senior leadership from Woori Bank, Kakao Bank, Kyobo Securities, and Kbank, alongside Ripple President Monica Long and RippleX Senior Vice President Markus Infanger.

The conference will feature in-depth sessions on tokenization and decentralized finance (DeFi), with a focus on institutional adoption of the XRP Ledger (XRPL) technology. Major Korean banks are expected to address XRPL adoption, asset tokenization, cross-border payments, and the future of institutional DeFi in Korea.

Kbank has actively collaborated with Ripple on blockchain solutions for overseas remittances, testing digital-asset platforms for efficient international transfers. Woori Bank and other institutions are also evaluating similar integrations, signaling growing interest in Ripple-powered payment technologies.
