Korea's Biggest Finance Company Enters Blockchain with Optimism Partnership

KB Securities, a subsidiary of Korea's largest bank, is partnering with Optimism and Securitize to bring tokenized financial products to its OP Mainnet. This marks the first time a major Korean finance company has come on-chain.

The partnership will focus on building a tokenized version of Moomoo, which offers a platform for users to trade stocks and other securities. By utilizing Optimism's layer 2 scaling solution, the goal is to provide faster and cheaper transactions for financial products.
