Kraken has announced that it will no longer allow withdrawals of seven cryptocurrencies for customers in the United Arab Emirates. The affected assets are Monero (XMR), Zcash (ZEC), Dash (DASH), USDD, Dai (DAI), USDS, and Ethena USD (USDE).

The withdrawal restrictions come into effect on September 14 at 14:00 UTC, after which balances held on the platform may be sold by Kraken between September 15 and 25, 2026. The exchange attributes this decision to its regular asset reviews.

According to Kraken's notice, withdrawals will remain available until 13:59 UTC on September 14. After that time, any remaining balances will be subject to liquidation at the company's discretion.
