Kraken Parent Payward Sees Revenue Growth Amid Declining Trading Volumes

Share

Kraken's parent company Payward reported a 17% increase in adjusted revenue to $508 million for Q2 2026.

This growth comes despite an 18% decline in platform transaction volume to $310 billion, primarily due to decreased spot cryptocurrency activity and increased trading in stocks and tokenized stocks.

Payward's diversified revenue streams, which now account for 60% of its total revenue, are helping the company mitigate the impact of declining trading volumes.

The number of funded accounts grew by 42% to 6.6 million, with Europe seeing significant growth after MiCA authorization.
