Kraken Pro Launches Pre-IPO Challenge with $10,000 USDG Prize Pool

Kraken Pro is launching the Pre-IPO Challenge, a trading competition with a $10,000 USDG prize pool, running from October 6 to November 6, 2026. Participants can trade the OURAx Perp and MOONSHOTx Perp perpetual futures contracts, which provide price exposure to OURA and MOONSHOT ahead of their anticipated IPOs. These contracts offer up to 10x leverage, allowing traders to amplify both gains and potential losses.

To qualify, traders must enroll through the Kraken app or Kraken Pro web before opening positions. Only positions opened after enrollment count toward the leaderboard. A minimum combined trading volume of $10,000 across both contracts is required to appear on the leaderboard. The higher the trading volume, the better the rank, and the larger the share of the prize pool.

The prize pool is distributed based on final rankings, with the top participant receiving $1,500 USDG and lower ranks receiving decreasing amounts. The competition is open to eligible customers, excluding those in the US, UK, EEA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, among other restrictions. Kraken emphasizes that these contracts are derivatives and do not confer ownership of OURA or MOONSHOT shares.
