KRW1 Partners with Rain to Unlock Global Payments for Korean Won

The Korean won stablecoin KRW1 is making waves in the crypto space after partnering with Rain to enable Visa card payments at over 175 million merchants across more than 200 countries.

KRW1, issued by BDACS on Avalanche, is fully backed by Korean won and maintains a 100% deposited backing with regular independent reserve attestations.

The partnership has the potential to bring new users into the crypto economy through real-world use cases such as overseas travel, student expenses, creator payouts, and corporate travel programs.

AVAX price could benefit from stablecoin growth, which can increase adoption and trading activity. If buyers defend $7 in September, the next upside targets are $10 and $15, but a loss of this level could push AVAX token price toward $4 or lower.
