KuCoin Expands Tokenized Equities with Apple, Robinhood, and SpaceX Listings

KuCoin has expanded its tokenized equities offerings by adding four new xStocks to its spot market. The exchange now allows users to trade tokenized versions of Apple, Robinhood, Strategy, and SpaceX.

The new assets trade under the tickers AAPLX, HOODX, MSTRX, and SPCXX on Solana. Each xStock is collateralized 1:1 by the corresponding underlying asset held with a regulated custodian, providing users with another route into equity-linked assets without using a traditional brokerage account.

KuCoin has restricted access to these new listings due to regulatory requirements, excluding users from jurisdictions such as the United States and United Kingdom. The exchange's tokenized equities model is designed around securities being held against the token supply, giving each token an underlying asset relationship.
