KuCoin Integrates Direct USDC Transfers with Arc Blockchain
KuCoin, a centralized cryptocurrency exchange based in the Turks and Caicos Islands, has integrated Arc's blockchain to offer direct USDC transfers between its platform and the new Layer-1 network. This move eliminates the need for multi-step bridging and reduces friction when entering Arc's ecosystem.
Arc uses USDC as native gas, allowing users to transfer funds directly without converting them first. The integration is available to eligible users, but KuCoin did not disclose transfer fees or withdrawal limits.
The rollout coincides with Arc's public mainnet launch on September 16, which takes the network beyond its private mainnet phase and marks a significant milestone for Circle Internet Group, the issuer of USDC. The partnership aims to position Arc as infrastructure capable of serving both crypto-native applications and traditional financial institutions.
