Kyrgyzstan Residents Can Now Earn on Stablecoins via Binance Earn
Kyrgyz citizens now have access to Binance Earn products, allowing them to earn yields on stablecoins like KGST and USDT. KGST, pegged 1:1 to the Kyrgyz som, offers rates up to 14% annually, while USDT products can reach up to 35%. These rates are not guaranteed and vary by product.
Users have two main options: placing KGST directly into Binance Earn or exchanging it for USDT. Products are available in flexible or fixed formats, with fixed terms locking funds for a set period. Before investing, users should review current rates, terms, and risks, as yields and conditions can change.
The launch aligns with growing interest in savings tools in Kyrgyzstan, where bank deposits surged 31.5% to 354.9 billion soms by late 2025. The country also ranks 19th in global cryptocurrency adoption, with stablecoins seen as a promising area. Binance’s regional head, Kirill Khomyakov, noted the shift toward using savings for income generation.
Despite the appeal of high yields, Binance warns that these products differ from insured bank deposits. Stablecoins rely on a peg mechanism that carries risks, and returns are not guaranteed. The expansion of crypto services also coincides with stricter government regulations, including new requirements for crypto companies and transfers.
