LAPTOP Memecoin Implodes Amid Bot Attack Allegations

The LAPTOP memecoin took an unexpected dive shortly after its launch on Wednesday, plummeting nearly 98% from its initial price of 5 cents within hours.

According to Hunter Biden's statement, he and his team had not sold any tokens, and their allocation remained locked with no sales. The project developers attributed the drastic price decline to automated sniper bot activity combined with insufficient market liquidity.

The team plans to inject 4 million tokens into Aerodrome liquidity pools as incentives to address liquidity concerns. This move is part of a larger effort to mitigate the damage caused by the initial launch.

A Bubblemaps analysis revealed that 60% of major token holders operated wallets with zero previous transaction history, suggesting a high percentage of investors were likely caught off guard by the rapid price drop.
