Hunter Biden's $LAPTOP token launched on Coinbase's Base network on September 9, sparking intense trading activity. The token hit a high of $316.75 within minutes of its launch but plummeted to around $6 by 12:40 PM UTC.

As the token began trading, it generated roughly $10 million in volume within the first hour, according to DEXScreener data.

The project's tokenomics, claim portal, and stated audit by Hacken have been made public, but some investors are still cautious due to the high volatility of meme coins. At least 14 lookalike tokens appeared on other networks shortly after the launch.
