Nomura's digital asset unit, Laser Digital, has partnered with Keyring Network to build institutional fixed income markets on decentralized finance infrastructure. The first lending and borrowing products are ready for deployment on Euler Finance.

The partnership combines permissioning, quantitative risk modeling, cyber insurance, and onchain settlement tools. Laser Digital will act as the risk governor, while Keyring will handle access verification, risk parameters, and liquidation design.

No launch date, committed capital, fee structure, or participating borrowers and lenders have been disclosed. The framework aims to address constraints that limit institutional participation in open DeFi lending markets, including unrestricted access, smart contract exploits, governance, and settlement processes.
