Laser Digital Ignites Japanese Crypto Market with Fresh Exchange Launch
Nomura's Laser Digital has become Japan's first new cryptocurrency exchange in four years. The exchange, which is a subsidiary of Nomura, one of Japan's largest financial institutions, aims to provide a secure and reliable platform for trading cryptocurrencies. According to reports, the exchange will offer a range of services, including spot trading and futures contracts.
The launch of Laser Digital comes at a time when the Japanese cryptocurrency market has been experiencing a period of stagnation. The last new exchange to be launched in Japan was Binance's Japanese subsidiary, which began operations in 2018. Since then, there have been several attempts to launch new exchanges, but none have been successful.
Laser Digital's CEO, Takashi Okada, said that the company is committed to providing a high level of service and security to its customers. 'We are excited to bring a new level of professionalism and expertise to the Japanese cryptocurrency market,' he stated.
