LayerZero and Midnight Lead Crypto Market Gains Amid Stable Prices
The crypto market has remained stable over the weekend, with Bitcoin and other tokens holding steady within a narrow range. The US nonfarm payrolls report was weaker than expected on Friday, which may have contributed to the stability in prices.
One of the standout performers is LayerZero (ZRO), whose price has surged by 185% from its August low of $0.7097 to its current value of $2.02. Its market capitalization has reached over $813 million, with a significant increase in trading volume to over $258 million.
The token has broken above the crucial resistance level of $1.3378, invalidating a potential double-top pattern that could have led to a bearish reversal. The 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) indicates that bulls are still in control, with a golden cross pattern forming on October 2nd.
Midnight (NIGHT), the privacy token launched by Charles Hoskinson, has also seen significant gains. After Weiss Ratings predicted its potential as the next top token to watch, Hoskinson himself stated that Midnight could be bigger than Zcash. The token's price has risen from $0.0150 in July to a high of $0.0529, surpassing its highest level since March 28.
However, both LayerZero and Midnight have reached overbought levels, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) soaring above 86 for LayerZero and 52 for Midnight. This may lead to a slight correction in price before resuming their uptrends.
Pi Network (PI), on the other hand, has underperformed compared to other coins like Near Protocol and LayerZero. Its price remains within a narrow range, with little reaction to ongoing network upgrades, including Protocol 28.
