LayerZero Ditches Support for 13 Lower-Activity Blockchain Networks

LayerZero, a blockchain technology company, is ending off-chain support for 13 lower-activity chains. The affected networks include Aurora, Taiko, Japan Open Chain, LightLink, Viction, Animechain, XPLA, Merlin, Gnosis, Zora, Otherworld Space, XAI, and opBNB.

The company will no longer provide access to its DVN and Executor services for these chains. Additionally, Stargate Hydra support will be ended for some of the affected networks.

Users are advised to redeem their Hydra assets held on those networks, including USDC.e, wETH, and Hydra USDT. LayerZero has promised to detail the affected networks and effective dates in its official announcement.
