LayerZero Sets Deadline for STG-to-ZRO Swap: October 6 or December 15
LayerZero has set an end date for swapping STG tokens (STG) into ZRO tokens (ZRO): December 15, 2026. For Binance customers, however, this deadline is October 6, 2026.
The fixed swap ratio of 1 STG to 0.08634 ZRO was set in August 2025 and has not changed since. When recalculated with today's prices, this rate yields around a third less than the current market price for STG tokens.
For Binance customers, trading in STG will end on October 6, 2026 at 03:00 UTC, after which open orders will be deleted and deposits/withdrawals will be suspended. LayerZero's swap will remain available until December 15, 2026, but the fixed rate may not be the best option for holders.
Before making a decision, it is essential to calculate both the swap value and the current market price of STG tokens. The difference between these two figures can be substantial, as seen in a worked example using 1,000 STG tokens.
