LayerZero Unveils ATLAS Exchange Infrastructure Platform
LayerZero has launched ATLAS, a new exchange infrastructure platform that allows trading venues to connect with market creators and market makers. This platform will give trading venues tools for matching, clearing, settlement, and risk management, allowing markets to share infrastructure while preserving separate brands and rules.
ATLAS is built on LayerZero's blockchain, Zero, which uses zero-knowledge proofs to verify trades and supports ZRO as its gas, governance, and security token through delegated proof-of-stake. Market creators can design markets for various assets, including tokens, stocks, commodities, bonds, perpetuals, and prediction products, while market makers can supply liquidity.
The platform will charge a combined trading fee, which will be distributed among participants and ZRO. Open markets can receive rebates between 20% and 65% through staking and trading activity, with the remaining fees directed towards the purchase of ZRO and burnt units.
