LayerZero's Stablecoin Push Powers ZRO to $2
LayerZero's push to create regulated stablecoins gained momentum as it partnered with Anchorage Digital and Korean digital asset custodian BDACS. The integration with Anchorage allows Tether's USAT stablecoin to function natively across supported blockchains, eliminating the need for wrapped versions.
The partnership with BDACS also expanded LayerZero's infrastructure beyond the U.S. market, as it will provide KRW1, a Korean won-backed stablecoin, with the necessary technology.
As a result of these integrations and increasing spot demand, ZRO price surged 16.46% over 24 hours, reaching nearly $2. The token's market capitalization climbed to around $677.98 million, while its unlocked market capitalization stood at roughly $1.28 billion.
