Lazarus Group Moves $7.74 Million in Bitcoin Amid Crypto Hacking Concerns

The North Korea-linked hacking group Lazarus has been accused of moving $7.74 million in Bitcoin to two unknown wallet addresses, sparking concerns over crypto laundering.

According to blockchain tracking platforms Arkham Intelligence and Lookonchain, the transfer took place roughly an hour before it was detected.

The funds originated from a wallet associated with the Lazarus Group, which has a long history of using stolen cryptocurrency for illicit activities.

Security experts believe the movement is worth monitoring closely, given the group's reputation for laundering stolen crypto.
