Lee Sees Largest-Ever Crypto Bull Cycle Brewing on Institutional Support
Tom Lee, Chairman of BitMine, predicts that the current crypto market is poised to enter its largest bull cycle ever. He attributes this growth to institutional capital inflows and tokenization. Lee pointed out that Bitcoin has crossed above its 200-day moving average nine times in the past 12 years, with eight instances followed by a bull market.
Lee emphasized that institutional investors will support this bull market as crypto assets have outperformed other major asset classes in the second half of this year. He noted that cumulative fund flows into Bitcoin investment products turned to net inflows in September and that institutional clients are waiting for the 'four-year boom cycle' in October.
Lee identified financial asset tokenization as a key factor differentiating this cycle from previous ones, with large financial institutions' tokenization and stablecoin businesses expanding the market. He also mentioned that traditional financial companies such as BlackRock, JPMorgan Chase, and Robinhood are likely to migrate to blockchain.
