Liberal Democrats Warn of 'Trump Satellite State' as Reform Reveals Crypto Tax Breaks

Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey has accused the Tories and Reform of planning to turn Britain into a 'Trump satellite state'.

Davey made the comments ahead of his party's annual conference in Brighton, where he will address members on Saturday and set out their vision for fixing broken politics and changing the country for the better.

New YouGov polling has found that support for the Lib Dems remains consistent, but Britons tend to see them as moderate and tolerant, yet weak and unclear about what they stand for.

Davey's personal ratings have also remained consistent, but 42% of Britons don't know who he is or can't describe him in their own words.
