Lido Completes Wind-Down Of Simple DVT Module Regular Clusters

Lido, a leading staking platform, has completed the wind-down of its Simple DVT Module's regular clusters. This move comes after an earlier DAO vote that overwhelmingly supported retiring these clusters.

The Simple DVT Module was introduced to bring distributed validator technology into Lido's staking operation and lower the risk of relying on a single validator operator. The module splits validator responsibilities across multiple operators, reducing the risk of single-operator failure and allowing for a more distributed validator set.

Lido's governance approved the shutdown proposal earlier this year with 57.4 million LDO in support and no votes against. The wind-down process is now complete, and eligible node operators have begun receiving the first tranche of transition grants, consisting of 0.175 stETH per participant.
