Lido DAO Executes Significant Governance Package Amid Growing Institutional Influence
Lido DAO has executed a significant operational governance package following the success of Aragon Vote #205, which was completed on September 21 at 13:45 UTC. The vote approved LIP-37, an Execution Delegation Framework upgrade, and introduced new controls for deposit reserves.
The changes, collectively known as LIP-37, have far-reaching implications for how Lido handles execution delegation, operational permissions, and the management of ETH reserved for deposits. Notably, a Deposit Reserve Target Easy Track factory has been established with a 9,600 ETH ceiling under the oversight of CMC.
Lido's governance changes are increasingly resembling institutional control upgrades rather than experimental DAO tweaks as the platform grows into a major piece of Ethereum's staking infrastructure. The successful execution of Vote #205 provides node operators, delegates, and users with a clear new operating baseline.
