Lighter Expands Chainlink Integration Across 100+ Markets for Enhanced Oracle Security
Lighter, a decentralized perpetual contract exchange, has expanded its Chainlink integration to cover over 100 markets. This move extends off-chain price feed infrastructure to new asset classes within its order book.
The platform's operational reach has multiplied with this expansion, having previously supported 25 markets backed by the decentralized network. Lighter's technical report notes that the deployment incorporates low-latency data streams for U.S. and Asia-Pacific (APAC) equities, as well as foreign exchange pairs, commodities, and large-cap crypto assets.
Lighter processes transactions through a zero-knowledge rollup (zk-rollup) architecture designed specifically for financial execution on the Ethereum network. The protocol has accumulated a historical transaction volume of $1.7 trillion.
