Lion Group Shifts DAT Strategy, Doubles Down on Hyperliquid
Lion Group, a U.S. company listed on Nasdaq, has overhauled its digital asset treasury (DAT) strategy by selling all of its Solana holdings and part of its Bitcoin position.
The proceeds from this sale were used to purchase more Hyperliquid tokens, increasing Lion Group's holdings to about 232,900 tokens valued at around $20.10 million.
This move reflects the company's confidence in Hyperliquid's fundamentals, on-chain perpetual futures trading volume, and expansion of its product offerings.
Lion Group also cited broader access for U.S. institutional investors, including through a spot Hyperliquid exchange-traded fund (ETF), as a key factor driving its investment decision.
