Liquid Mercury's ACQUA1 Completes Initial Closing of MERC Exchange Offering

Share

Liquid Mercury, a company that powers professional crypto trading and digital asset marketplaces, announced that its subsidiary ACQUA1 completed the initial closing of its MERC exchange offering on September 1, 2026.

The offering saw verified accredited investors subscribe by exchanging MERC for non-voting Class B units of ACQUA1 at an initial conversion rate of 10 MERC per unit. The total amount of MERC received was 563,230,000, which were subsequently burned via a transfer to the dead address on September 2, as required by the offering documents.

According to Tony Saliba, CEO and founder of Liquid Mercury, 'Over the past 18 months, dozens of companies have approached Liquid Mercury seeking to tokenize their assets. Licensing Mercury RWA lets them launch on systems that were already live and proven, at a fraction of the time and cost.'
