Liquid Network Hacked: $320 Million Worth of Bitcoin Stolen

A cyberattack on the Liquid Network has resulted in the theft of approximately $320 million worth of Bitcoin. The hackers targeted the company's wallet, withdrawing around 4,000 out of 4,200 Bitcoins stored there. This incident has affected Liquid wallets and users are experiencing inconvenience due to suspended new transactions.

Liquid Network stated that the attackers used SideSwap, a settlement platform authorized for withdrawals from the network, to facilitate the theft. However, it's noted that the key used in the process was not compromised.
