Litecoin Network Activity Hits $1 Billion as Price Holds Above $56.13 Support
Litecoin's network activity has surged to $1 billion in recent days, according to data from Bitget. This uptick in on-chain transactions comes despite some volatility in the cryptocurrency's price, which has traded as high as $64.64 and as low as $56.13.
The $56.13 level is now a critical support point for traders, and if Litecoin remains above it, attention will likely turn to the upper resistance near $64.64. A move below this support could accelerate a decline toward the next key level at $48.42.
Technical indicators suggest an underlying bullish trend, but market observers note that price momentum could slow as technical levels are approached. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 68.07, just below the overbought threshold of 70 and above the average of 63.56.
The Litecoin Foundation reports that $1 billion of value, or approximately 17 million Litecoins, moved across the network in 24 hours. This figure highlights robust on-chain value transfer, but it's worth noting that May's adjusted economic volume peaked at $2.51 billion over 24 hours.
