Little Pepe Audits Raise More Questions Than Answers
The legitimacy of Little Pepe is a topic of interest among investors and enthusiasts. On one hand, the project's token contract has undergone a security audit by CertiK, scoring a 95.49 out of 100 on its Skynet platform with no critical vulnerabilities found.
However, another review from FreshCoins put the contract's security score in the low 80th percentile, also without flagging critical issues. But what these audits don't cover is the broader infrastructure of the project, including the proposed Little Pepe Layer 2 chain and governance system, which has not been audited by an independent firm.
A separate risk flag was raised by GoPlus Security, a contract-scanning tool that flagged the LILPEPE contract creator's technical ability to disable token sales at any time. While CertiK didn't classify this as a critical finding, the capability is real and sits directly in the contract. The Little Pepe team has made no public statement addressing it, despite being months after it was first flagged.
The project's anonymous team also raises concerns for investors, as there is no personal accountability if the project underdelivers. Additionally, the LILPEPE token has already debuted on exchanges like LBank and Phemex, but it remains to be seen whether it will achieve a Tier-1 exchange listing.
