Macro Rally and AI/DePIN Rotation Boosts Render Price
The crypto market experienced a significant surge over the past day, with Render being one of the beneficiaries. The total crypto market cap rose by approximately 7% to $2.47 trillion, while trading volume more than doubled. This rally was driven by two key macro and political catalysts: the US Treasury's announcement to double long-term bond buybacks and President Donald Trump's pro-crypto messaging.
Bitcoin led the charge with an 11% gain, followed closely by Ethereum's 19% increase. Render's price jumped from $1.32 to $1.41, a 6.8% rise that aligns with the overall altcoin market move.
The AI and DePIN sectors received extra attention during this market rally. Traders highlighted a three-way split in capital flows: RWA names like ONDO and LINK.AI, fast L1s such as SOL and SUI, and AI/DePIN momentum names like Render. Social chatter indicated that AI/DePIN tokens were pulling significant volume while the rest of the market lagged.
Technical commentary noted that on-balance volume for Render had been diverging positively from price, suggesting a buildup of interest and positioning in the token. There were no major new Render Network announcements in the past 24 hours, making technicals and positioning the primary drivers behind its price surge.
