Magic Eden Listings at Risk from Limit Break Contract Flaw
RevokeCash, a security-focused service, has issued an alert regarding a potential vulnerability in Limit Break's Payment Processor contract. Users who traded NFTs on Magic Eden's Ethereum marketplace between February and October 2024 may have inadvertently granted approval to this contract, which is currently known to have a flaw.
Magic Eden has stated that its current listings are not affected by the issue, but it acknowledges that older listings could be impacted. The platform is working with Limit Break to implement additional risk mitigation measures and investigate the full scope of the problem.
RevokeCash recommends that users revoke related contract approvals on the Ethereum, Polygon, and Base networks using their service. This includes filtering for the Payment Processor address and revoking all NFT approvals marked as 'approved for all.'
