Mainstream Money Makers Replace Bitcoin's Fringe Elite
By 2032, Bitcoin's adoption will have transformed the people considered smart and knowledgeable about cryptocurrency. The current self-proclaimed 'real Bitcoiners' will be largely irrelevant due to their inability to adapt to mass adoption.
The future of Bitcoin lies not with fringe groups or physical devices built by enthusiasts, but with mainstream institutions such as Apple, Samsung, Google, Blackrock, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and others. These companies have the resources and expertise to bring Bitcoin into the mainstream.
Despite this shift, individuals will still be able to use their self-custodied Bitcoin for transactions, and the cypherpunk spirit will remain alive and well. The key is not to build a parallel world, but to create an asset class that the mainstream is forced to adopt.
