Major Crypto Holders Continue Accumulating Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana
Major cryptocurrency holders continued to accumulate Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana despite recent market stagnation. Strategy, the largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder, added 334 BTC to its holdings, bringing its total to 848,000 BTC. The company also repurchased $176 million in preferred shares, with founder Michael Saylor noting that Strategy holds $5.7 billion in assets, enough to cover current dividends and interest payments for about 3.6 years.
Strive also made significant Bitcoin purchases, acquiring 2,000 BTC worth $169 million. This increased Strive’s total Bitcoin holdings to 29,462 BTC, with an average purchase price of $84,422 per BTC. CEO Matt Cole revealed that 61.5% of the acquisition funds came from SATA, while $56.7 million was raised through stock options.
Ethereum saw continued buying activity as Bitmine, the world’s largest Ethereum holder, purchased an additional 15,112 ETH. This brought Bitmine’s total holdings to 6,016,414 ETH, representing 4.9% of the total circulating ETH supply. Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee stated, “We believe cryptocurrencies have entered what we perceive as a bull market cycle. Bitmine has purchased ETH every week since the launch of its ETH Treasury Strategy on June 30, 2025.”
Solana also saw significant procurement activity. Nasdaq-listed DeFi Development Corp. announced it had purchased an additional 26,203 SOL, bringing its total SOL holdings to 2.564 million. The company also generated additional revenue by staking its SOL holdings and operating its own validator.
