Major Players Drive Bitcoin Surge Amid Rising Market Volatility
The recent surge in cryptocurrency markets has been fueled by significant accumulation of positions by major players rather than retail sentiment alone.
Bitcoin rose by approximately 10,000 points over the past seven days, with the total crypto market cap rebounding to around $3 trillion. Meanwhile, crypto ETFs recorded a combined net inflow of about $1.698 billion over the past five days, while BlackRock has purchased approximately $1.57 billion worth of Ethereum over the last 20 days.
On-chain large holders have accumulated around 73,300 BTC over the past two months, locking up more supply and increasing short-term volatility. This makes it easier for latecomers to be drawn into high-level speculation as prices rise.
