MARA, a bitcoin mining company listed on NASDAQ under the ticker MARA, has expanded its board of directors to bring in expertise in power markets and data center development. The two new members are Craig Hart and Nancy Novak, who joined effective August 1. Hart is a power investment executive, while Novak has experience in hyperscale data center construction.

The transition maintains the seven-member board, with six independent directors remaining after Barbara Humpton and Georges Antoun stepped down on July 31. The change allows MARA to scale its digital infrastructure and energy portfolio.
