This move marked a shift from a purely accumulation-focused strategy to a more balanced approach that includes utilizing Bitcoin for operational needs, debt reduction, and funding for advancements in energy and AI infrastructure.

In Q2 2026, MARA mined an additional 2,422 BTC, increasing its operational hashrate to 70.3 EH/s, underscoring the company's commitment to expanding its mining operations even amid market fluctuations.
