MARA Holdings has locked up 18,750 BTC in exchange for $600 million in loans from Coinbase Credit and Two Prime Lending.

The deal provides MARA with more liquidity as it expands into energy infrastructure and future AI and high-performance computing applications.

With the new lending facilities, over 50% of MARA's estimated Bitcoin holdings are now collateral-based.

The financing arrangements were completed on August 4, according to MARA's latest SEC filing.
