The global cryptocurrency market capitalization fell by 3.3% to $2.67 trillion on September 16, 2026, as Bitcoin and Ethereum declined in value.

According to CoinGecko data, Bitcoin's (BTC) price dropped by 2.7%, reaching $75,685.19, while its trading volume reached approximately $39.7 billion.

Ethereum (ETH), on the other hand, fell by 4.6% to $2,396.07, with a trading volume of around $19.3 billion.
