Billy Markus, co-founder of Dogecoin, reflected on his most 'crypto' moment in a recent post on X. The experience involved using DOGE to pay for a ride on the Las Vegas Loop, an underground transportation system.

This incident dates back to July 2022, when The Boring Company, led by Elon Musk, announced that it would support dogecoin payments at its Loop stations outside the Las Vegas Convention Center. Users were able to pay fares with DOGE at the time.

Markus's comments come as the cryptocurrency market faces a downturn. On July 28, total liquidations reached $604 million, and Dogecoin fell by 3.57% over the past 24 hours and 4.51% over the past week.
