Mastercard Expansion Fuels XRP Price Prediction as DigiTap Presale Gains Momentum
Ripple's XRP Ledger has gained another major payment connection as Mastercard expanded its stablecoin settlement support to include RLUSD, a regulated stablecoin that will be settled across several blockchains including the XRP Ledger.
The move follows an earlier collaboration between Ripple, Mastercard, WebBank, and Gemini exploring RLUSD settlement for fiat card transactions. This development brings Ripple's stablecoin and XRPL infrastructure closer to payment workflows familiar to large financial institutions.
XRP traders may see this as useful fundamental fuel for the cryptocurrency, which has previously formed technical structures projecting toward $3.10. The recent data shows that tokenized assets on the XRP Ledger averaged billions of dollars during the second quarter, and average RLUSD balances rose sharply from a year earlier.
DigiTap is also contributing to the growth of crypto payments by offering a no-KYC crypto card through its presale at $0.0589. The beta app is already available for download on both App Store and Google Play, providing users with access to spending tools and supported crypto assets.
