Taiwan's MAX Exchange has integrated native USDT, issued directly on the Aptos blockchain. This move allows local traders to deposit, buy, and withdraw Tether's dollar-pegged token without relying on wrapped or bridged versions.

The integration went live on September 29, with deposits and withdrawals enabled for Aptos-native $USDT. The following day, four new trading pairs - $HYPE, $GRAM, $APT, and $RENDER - are set to open for trading at 15:00 GMT+8.

MAX has warned users to choose the correct Aptos network when depositing, as mistakes can result in permanent asset loss. This is a standard risk in the industry when tokens exist on multiple networks or blockchains offer more than one deposit pathway.
