MayaChain Exploited for Approximately $1.7 Million

A cross-chain AMM called MayaChain, part of the Maya Protocol ecosystem, has been exploited for approximately $1.7 million in cryptocurrencies.

The attack occurred on August 19, as reported by Aaluxx, co-founder of the Maya Protocol, via their X account.

CertiK, a blockchain security firm, estimated that the loss amounts to around $27 million Japanese yen (approximately $170,000 USD). The exploiter allegedly obtained approximately 20 BTC and other assets worth around $140,000 at the time.
