Meme Coin Rally Continues as Bitcoin Tops $80,000
Bitcoin (BTC) is trading near $80,700 after gaining around 25% in the past week. Three meme coins - Dogecoin (DOGE), Pepe (PEPE), and Pump.fun (PUMP) - have followed suit with double-digit gains.
Among these, only DOGE broke out of its 20-month downtrend by rebounding from $0.0556 support zone. This move also broke a descending trendline that had capped every rally since December 2024.
The weekly Relative Strength Index (RSI) for DOGE sits near 50, indicating that the advance has consumed little of the available upside. If it closes above its broken line from above at $0.0929, it would confirm the end of this downtrend.
Meanwhile, PEPE's 59.53% gain last week is a repeat of a pattern seen in December 2025. However, PEPE now trades at $0.00000425 and is still within its range established in July. It needs to break above $0.0000044 for confirmation.
PUMP delivered the strongest move among these meme coins with a 95.84% gain last week. The rally runs deeper than one candle, but it has now turned overbought, leaving it vulnerable.
